Stage Success Dream: Overcoming Fear & Finding Meaning & Interpretation

"Last night, I had a dream about success. In my dream, I stood backstage at a big theater. Hundreds of people sat in the dark, waiting. My hands were cold. My heart beat fast. "You're next," the worker whispered. I walked onto the stage. The lights were so bright I could not see faces. Only darkness and silence. I took a deep breath. I started to speak. My voice was shaky at first. But after one minute, something changed. The words flowed like water. I spoke about my dream, my hard work, my failures, and my hope. The audience listened. I could feel it. They were with me. When I finished, one second of silence. Then the whole theater exploded. People stood up. They clapped and cheered. Some wiped tears from their eyes. Flowers flew onto the stage. Roses landed at my feet. I saw my mom in the front row. She was crying and smiling at the same time. My dad stood next to her, clapping so hard his hands must have hurt. A famous man walked on stage and shook my hand. "You did it," he said into the microphone. "You really did it." A gold medal hung around my neck. It was heavy and cold. It felt real. Cameras flashed everywhere. "How do you feel?" people shouted. I looked at the crowd. All these people came for me. Little me. "Like I'm flying," I said. Then I woke up. I lay in my bed, still smiling. No medal. No crowd. Just my small room and my alarm clock. But something was different. For the first time, I believed the dream could come true.
