Sunflower Reunion with a Fading Beloved Meaning & Interpretation

"Last night, I had a dream about someone I love. In my dream, I stood in a field full of sunflowers. They were taller than me, yellow and bright, dancing in the wind. The sky was so blue it looked painted. Then I saw him. He stood at the end of the field, wearing his old white shirt. He waved at me with a big smile, the smile I know so well. I started running. My feet felt light. The sunflower leaves brushed my arms like friendly hands. When I reached him, he opened his arms. I ran straight into them. He lifted me up and spun me around. When I opened my eyes again, he was fading, like smoke in the wind. "Wait!" I shouted. "Remember me," he said with a smile. Then he was gone. I woke up. Tears ran down my face. But I was smiling too. Because in my dream, I saw him. And for one night, I was the happiest person alive."
