Revisiting Old Love: The Empty Café Meaning & Interpretation

"I dreamed that I was walking through an old neighborhood where I used to spend time with my ex-boyfriend. Everything looked almost exactly as I remembered it, including the small café where we often met. As I walked past the café, I saw him sitting by the window. He looked at me and smiled, and for a moment I felt happy to see him again. I went inside and sat across from him. We talked about our lives as if no time had passed. He told me about his work and the places he had visited, while I listened quietly.
