"I was outside behind a building, maybe my old school, trying to get to my car. There was a bird on the ground near the curb. At first I thought it was hurt because it wasn't moving, so I got closer. It suddenly flew at my face. I threw my arms up and ran, but it kept swooping down at me. It was bigger every time it came back around. I could hear its wings even when I couldn't see it. I remember being more angry than scared at first because I just wanted to leave. I got inside a building and shut the door, but the bird was somehow already there. It was sitting on the counter near a stack of papers, staring at me. No one else in the room seemed to notice it. Then I was in a car with my mom. I kept telling her to lock the windows, but she said the bird couldn't get in. A shadow passed over the windshield, and she kept driving like nothing happened. The next thing I remember, I was standing in my backyard holding an umbrella over my head. The bird landed on the umbrella and started pecking at it. I tried to drop it, but my hands wouldn't let go. I woke up right when the umbrella tore open. "
