Deep pool, dry Hallway: Awakening from Emotional depths

"I was in a swimming pool, but it was much deeper than a normal pool. I remember being able to see the bottom at first, even though it was so far down that it looked blurry. I wasn't sure why I was underwater. I may have jumped in to get something. When I tried to swim back up, I kept going sideways instead. The walls of the pool moved farther away every time I reached for them. I could hear people talking above me, but their voices sounded muffled and casual, like they were sitting around having lunch. I had a watch on, and I kept checking it even though the numbers made no sense. It said 8:70. Then I noticed my shoes were still on. I started pulling at them because they felt heavy, but one of them was tied to something below me. The pool suddenly turned into my grandmother's living room. Water was still covering everything, and I was floating near the ceiling. A lamp was glowing underwater. I tried shouting for help, but only a few bubbles came out. Then I saw a door at the bottom of the room. I swam toward it, opened it, and found a completely dry hallway on the other side. I crawled through and woke up before I could stand, breathing like I had actually been underwater."
