"i was in my neighborhood, or a version of it, streets a little too empty for what time of day it felt like. i was walking somewhere with a purpose i can't remember now, just moving with intent, and i noticed a guy a few houses down moving weird, jerky, dragging one leg, and i didn't clock it as anything until he turned his head too far, further than a neck should go.
i started walking faster, not full running yet, telling myself i was overreacting, that dream denial thing where part of you already knows. then i passed my neighbor's yard and there were more of them just standing there among the hedges, swaying slightly, and one of them turned and i recognized the face, someone i actually know in real life, and that hit way harder than a stranger would have.
i ran then, properly ran, cutting through yards that don't connect the way they do in real life, hopping a fence that was suddenly there and then wasn't when i looked back. i could hear groaning behind me, multiplied, more of them joining in from directions i hadn't even checked.
i ducked into a house, not mine, door thankfully unlocked, and slammed it shut, pressing my back against it like that would hold against anything. through the window i watched them gather outside, slow, patient, pressing up near the glass without breaking it, just staring in with that blank look.
i kept trying to text someone for help and my phone wouldn't unlock, kept rejecting my passcode even though i knew i was typing it right, over and over, fingers fumbling more each time.
right as one of them found a side door i hadn't checked, i woke up with my heart racing, laid there a second going through the actual rooms of my actual house in my head just to ground myself."
Core Theme
"This dream reflects a feeling that familiar life structures have become strangely empty and that unresolved fears are pressing at your boundaries. The turning face of someone you know suggests that what you are avoiding is not distant but personal, tied to a relationship or memory you recognize. Running and seeking shelter indicate a deep wish for safety, while the unresponsive phone and side door reveal that your usual ways of asking for help may feel blocked."

Guidance
Your soul is asking you to stop running from what feels familiar yet frightening, and to name the fear instead of denying it. Reconnect with a clear sense of purpose through small daily rituals, honest prayer or journaling, and supportive people who can truly receive your call for help. Before sleep, ground yourself by mentally walking through your actual home and asking where you feel safe, then strengthen that place as your inner sanctuary.
