"I was running through a neighborhood I didn't recognize, but I somehow knew which way my house was. I don't even know what was chasing me. I never looked back properly. I could just hear footsteps behind me, sometimes close and sometimes far away. I kept trying to call my friend, but my phone wouldn't unlock. My fingers felt too big and the screen kept showing pictures instead of the keypad. I almost stopped to fix it, which makes no sense, but I was really worried about reaching them. The streets kept changing. First I was outside, then I was in a school hallway, and then I was running through someone's backyard. I climbed over a fence and landed in a room with a bunch of people sitting around a table. Nobody reacted to me. I asked them to help, but they just kept talking like I wasn't there. Then I heard the footsteps again, right outside the room. I found a door and pushed through it, but it opened into my bedroom. The person--or whatever it was--was standing at the end of the bed now. I still couldn't see its face. I tried to scream, but it came out as a whisper, and then I woke up before it got any closer."
