"In my dream, I was at a party with people I did not know. Music played softly in the background. A stranger walked up to me and started talking. We laughed together for a while. Then, without thinking, I kissed the stranger. As soon as it happened, my stomach dropped. I remembered my partner. Guilt filled my chest like a heavy stone. I looked around, scared someone had seen me. I tried to explain to myself that it was a mistake. But the sadness did not go away. I thought about my partner's face, trusting and kind. Tears filled my eyes. I felt like I had broken something important. I wanted to go back in time and stop myself. I searched for a phone to call my partner, but I could not find one.
