"I dreamed I was at my partner's apartment, except it wasn't really his apartment—everything was arranged wrong and there were plants everywhere. His phone kept lighting up on the counter, and I wasn't trying to look, but I saw a message from someone I didn't know that said something like “last night was fun.” I don't even remember confronting him properly. I just remember standing in the kitchen feeling sick while he kept talking about something completely unrelated, like what we should eat. I asked who the message was from and he laughed at first, like I was joking. Then we were suddenly in a car driving somewhere at night. He was apologizing, but not really saying what for, and I kept looking out the window because I didn't want to cry in front of him. I woke up before we got wherever we were going, still upset even though I knew it wasn't real."
