The glass Lake and the empty Boat

"I was sitting beside a huge lake, and the water was completely still. There wasn't even a small wave. I remember thinking it looked like glass. I took off my shoes and put my feet in the water. It was warm, which felt strange because I expected it to be cold. I just sat there for a while, watching little circles appear around my feet. Then I was suddenly floating in the middle of the lake. I wasn't swimming or moving. Somehow I was just staying on the surface. The sky above me was clear, and everything was so quiet that I could hear my own breathing. I noticed a small boat far away. I thought someone was inside, but when it came closer, there was nobody there. The boat stopped beside me. I climbed in and just sat there, letting the water carry me wherever it wanted. I woke up feeling unusually calm, like I had finally stopped worrying about something I couldn't even remember."
