Four fish in a pasta Strainer

"I was standing in a shallow creek behind my old elementary school, but the water was warm and smelled like lavender detergent. Had to catch exactly four fish. Didn't know why, just felt this heavy pressure in my chest that it had to be four. I was using a metal pasta strainer. Every time I scooped, I got these heavy silver things that weren't quite fish, more like wet car keys flapping around. My hands were freezing. Suddenly I'm sitting at my office desk. Creek is totally gone. I'm in a meeting, wearing a blazer, but my lap is full of slippery, flopping trout. My boss is droning on about spreadsheets but I'm just trying to keep the fish from sliding onto the carpet. Felt weirdly responsible for them. Woke up with my hands clenched tight."
