Two moons Over a faded Street

"I was walking home from somewhere, maybe work, down a street that looked like mine but the buildings were all the wrong color, kind of faded peach. When I looked up there were two moons. One was the normal big one and the other sat lower and smaller, almost like a spare. Nobody around seemed to care. A man at a bus stop was just eating an orange. I remember being annoyed more than amazed, like someone had forgotten to tell me about a schedule change. I started asking people which one was the real one and they kept giving me these polite, useless answers. Then a jump, and I was on my childhood balcony with my cousin, who I haven't seen in years, and she was whispering that the small moon was getting closer and we shouldn't point at it. I felt like I'd known that rule once and forgotten. The light turned a weird silvery green. I was trying to find my shoes. Woke up squinting at the actual window, checking the sky for no reason."
