"I was looking down at my hands and realized I had accidentally squished my pet spider. A wave of heavy sadness and deep guilt hit me right in the chest because I never meant to hurt him, but it was already too late. I was standing near some people and had to fight back my tears, my throat getting so tight that my voice trembled when I told them what I did. I just wanted him to be okay and back in his cage, especially since I keep having terrible dreams where he goes missing or dies. When I finally snapped awake, my heart was beating super fast and I ran straight over to check his tank. I let out a big breath when I saw him moving safely on his web, but that sad, heavy feeling in my heart stayed with me for hours."
