Getting Married

Thanks to Dreampal I met the woman of my dreams.
Her name is Karen and we have been seeing each other
on a regular basis. It was a bit hard at first, seeing that she
lives in Portland and I live in San Francisco, but we got on so well
that I decided to move to Portland this Christmas.
We will be getting married in March 2000 and have our
future mapped out. We have been telling all our friends what
a great service Dreampal has provided to its members and
some of them have joined up.

Checking e-mails one night I went for a surf on the net and
found a site called Dreampal. Divorced for just over a year and in my early
thirties, I found myself in an interesting position. I was a
single male in the 90's ready to find a friend, a partner,
person to share my life with but how was I to meet this
wonderful 'woman'? The last time I was a single they were all
called 'girls'!
Not the type to frequent night clubs or single's bars, what
were my choices? Sick of blind dates set up by well
intentioned friends and family, I thought I was doomed to
remain a bachelor for years.
I had never been involved with any match making services
before and I must admit I was very sceptical of their worth,
how could a computer decide who I was compatible with and
how on earth can you get to know someone through e-mails
and chat?
One morning last June the 'Cupid service' scared the
hell out of me... It send me an e-mail telling me it had found a
match! Her nick was 'S'. I read her profile and was amazed
at the interests, likes and dislikes, the similarities were
amazing! I send her an e-mail straight away and set up a
time to chat. It was incredible. I felt like I was 17 again,
stomach butterflies, nervousness, giggles and blushing. The
e-mails were flying... We hit it off so well, we just had to meet
and within 3 weeks we did.
The whirlwind ever since has blown me away. She is the
best thing to ever happen to me and even more amazing she
loves me.
No longer am I sceptical of these services, in fact I
understand the worth really well now. If you are not the type of
person to go to night clubs, if you are busy trying to study,
work and make all the choices needed to remain sane in
these fast times, there is a way to find your soul mate. If you
consider that we live in the 'computer age' and meeting
people has never been harder. There is an age old method
that remains the best way to get to know someone really well
and that is simply via 'letters'. There is no better forum. Your
thoughts, dreams and fears all easily expressed in print
without all of the distractions involved with 'in person'
meetings. It's not a new idea, it's been happening for
hundreds of years, its just easier now.
Finding each other may just be luck or even heaven sent,
either way I am totally astonished. I have no idea what the
future holds for me and A, although I give it the best chance
life gives. She is wonderful, I love her and I am the happiest I
have been in years. The future looks very bright.

My Life Worth Living Again!

I would like to thank you for the wonderful service you have...thanks to
you I have felt what it is like to be truly happy in life. It all started back in February of 2000.
I was browsing through your ads and I came across one that caught my eye. I responded to it
and actually got a reply back. The man I found turned out to live in the same town as I do.
We started talking and within a few days we had decided to meet. Well that was almost 2
months ago now, and I am happy to say that we exchanged wedding
vows recently! We are so much in love. He has been the best thing that has entered into mine and my
3 kids lives. We have done a lot of good for one another...we are both looking forward to a

Well what can I say.
I have to congratulate your team for such a wonderful
service. I was put onto you by a friend and within a week I
meet the woman of my dreams.
We spoke several times on the phone and arranged a

I traveled 7 hours by car to meet her and it was the best thing

We aren't supposed to use the internet much at work any
more. Thank goodness we were allowed when I found
Tony!!" Love at first sight does exist!! We met only three
days after the first introductory email and 13 months later we
are planning the rest of our lives together. It was like meeting
a long-lost friend, we just started talking and have hardly
stopped since. I met a number of men through Dreampal whom I
didn't form a romantic attachment to but still count among my

Hi, I am recently divorced and was definitely not looking for a relationship. My friend kept
