Kissing My Ex in a familiar Apartment

"I was walking through this dimly lit apartment that was supposed to be my current place, but it had the exact same yellowed wallpaper as my ex's old college bedroom. I went into the back room to find a charger, and my ex was just lying on the edge of a bare mattress looking at me like we were still together and nothing had ever ended. We started kissing, and it felt so strange—super familiar like second nature, but at the same time completely wrong because in the back of my head I knew we hadn't talked in years. The whole thing felt really blurred and urgent, like we were trying to finish before someone opened the door, and my head was just spinning with this weird mix of old muscle memory and total disorientation. then all of a sudden I was sitting on a cold metal bench at a crowded bus stop holding a grocery bag full of loose ice cubes, staring at my hands and trying to figure out why my chest felt so heavy and confused."
