Dream of Ex in Hotel: Repressed Desire & Meaning & Interpretation

"I had a strange dream about my ex. I had traveled to another city for a work meeting. After work, I stopped at a small restaurant near my hotel. While I was waiting for dinner, I heard someone call my name. I turned around and saw my ex standing near the entrance. We sat together and talked about our lives. She told me she was married, but her marriage had become very unhappy. Her husband was distant, and they had stopped being close to each other. She said they had lived like strangers for a long time. When the restaurant closed, she asked where I was staying. My hotel was only a few minutes away. She hesitated before saying, “I have not felt wanted by my husband for a very long time. I miss being close to someone. I haven't felt close to anyone for a long time. I just need someone who understands me tonight.” We went to my hotel room. She was nervous but also seemed relieved. We talked about our past and the feelings we still had. She told me that she had been carrying her loneliness for years. We kissed and had sex. After about an hour, she checked the time and quickly got dressed. She said she could not stay longer because she did not want to make her situation at home even more complicated. Before leaving, she hugged me tightly and whispered, “For one hour, I felt like myself again.” Then she left the hotel. I stood by the window and watched her disappear into the street.
