The endless Search for something Forgotten

"I had this dream where I was trying to get ready for something, but I couldn't figure out what. I was in my house, except the rooms were in the wrong places. My bedroom seemed to open into the kitchen, and I kept going through the same doorway without meaning to. My phone was ringing nonstop. I picked it up, but the screen was covered with messages and I couldn't read any of them. Then someone knocked on the front door. I knew I was supposed to answer, but I still had something else to finish. Suddenly I was in a crowded office. People were handing me papers and asking me to sign things. I kept saying I would do it in a minute. Then I noticed I was wearing only one shoe. I have no idea why that bothered me so much, but I felt completely embarrassed. The next thing I remember, I was running through a supermarket pushing an empty shopping cart. I was trying to find one thing, but I couldn't remember what it was. I woke up feeling exhausted, like I had been busy all night."
