The unread Signs and the sudden Child

"i was rushing around a massive, empty airport terminal trying to find my flight gate, but all the departure boards were written in symbols i couldn't read. then i went into a public bathroom to wash my hands, and when i looked down at my stomach in the mirror, it was huge and completely round. i was suddenly full-term pregnant out of nowhere, even though i hadn't been expecting a baby or feeling anything unusual five minutes earlier. i just stood there staring at my reflection, trying to remember when this happened or who i was even supposed to tell. there was no pain or anything, just this surreal, dizzy feeling like my brain couldn't process how my body had shifted so fast. i placed both hands on my stomach and could feel this distinct, heavy kicking from the inside, which made it feel so overwhelmingly real. then out of nowhere i was sitting in a high school auditorium watching a play, still holding my bump, while everyone around me was talking and ignoring me completely. i just sat there in the dark trying to figure out what i was going to do when the baby arrived, totally overwhelmed and confused about how my whole life had changed without me realizing it."
