The light That knew My name

"I was walking through my neighborhood at night, but the sky looked different. The stars were close enough to touch, and they weren't blinking like usual. I remember feeling no rush to get anywhere. At the end of the street, a soft white light hung over the road. It wasn't a streetlight or a car. I stopped, expecting to feel scared, but instead I felt like I had been looking for it my whole life. When I got closer, the light didn't burn. It went through me, and I could suddenly hear my own thoughts clearly, without the usual noise. I thought about old mistakes and people I missed, but nothing felt heavy anymore. For a moment I saw myself as a child, standing in the same spot. We looked at each other, and I wanted to tell her everything would be okay. The light faded slowly, and the stars returned to the sky. I woke up calm, almost reluctant to move, as if waking too fast would break something."
