The endless Run through Night streets

"I was running down a street at night, but I didn't know where I was going. My legs felt heavy, and one of my shoes was coming loose. I kept hearing a bus behind me, although I couldn't see any headlights. Every time I passed a yellow house, I thought I was getting closer to somewhere familiar. Then the street would bend and the same house appeared again. I tried stopping to catch my breath, but my body kept moving without me. Suddenly I was running through a grocery store. The aisles were too narrow, and people kept leaving carts in the middle. I apologized as I pushed past them, even though nobody was looking at me. I found a door marked EXIT and burst through it. On the other side was my old school track. My sister was standing at the finish line, holding my phone. I shouted for her to wait, but she started walking away. I ran harder, but the finish line kept getting farther. Then I tripped, looked down, and realized I wasn't wearing shoes at all. I woke up breathing hard, with my heart still racing."
