"I was brushing my hair in a bathroom that looked like mine, except the mirror was too high. I could only see the top of my head. When I pulled the brush through my hair, a huge clump came out. I stared at it for a second because it didn't seem possible. Then more hair started coming out every time I touched my head. It wasn't painful, which made it feel even stranger. I kept trying to put it back somehow, smoothing it against my scalp like it would stick. The sink was filling up with hair. I turned on the water to wash it down, but the drain clogged almost immediately. I got really upset because I knew someone was going to see the mess. Then I was in a salon, sitting in a chair with a cape around my neck. The stylist kept cutting my hair even though I told her to stop. She smiled and said it would grow back, but I could see in the mirror that one side was getting shorter and shorter. I tried to get up, but my hands were full of hair again. When I looked down, it had turned into long black threads wrapped around my fingers. I woke up touching my hair to make sure it was still there."
