Running joyfully Through the storm

"I was running again, my feet steady on the ground and my breathing easy. The scenery was familiar, though it shifted a little each time, a quiet road, a park path, a stretch of open fields. I felt strong and free. Then the sky darkened, and thunder rumbled overhead. The rain came down hard, soaking my hair and clothes in seconds. I didn't mind. I loved the feeling of the cold water on my skin and the sound of the storm all around me. "Don't stop," I told myself. "Keep going." I ran on through the downpour, laughing, my feet splashing through puddles, feeling more alive with every step. When I woke up, I felt light and energized, as if I had really been out running. A happy calm stayed with me, and I smiled at the thought that even in my dreams, I never stop."
