"I was sitting on the floor of a room I didn't recognize, with sunlight coming through the windows. Nothing special was happening, but I remember feeling like I had finally stopped waiting for something. There was a bowl of water beside me. The surface kept moving even though the room was completely still. I put my hand in it and saw little circles spread across the bowl, then disappear. Someone was talking in the next room. I couldn't make out the words, and normally that would have bothered me, but it didn't. I just sat there listening. Then I was walking outside through a city I knew, except everyone had stopped moving. Cars were parked in the middle of the street and people were standing under trees, all facing the sky. I looked up and saw a huge bright moon, even though it was daytime. I felt like I was supposed to understand something, but there was no message and no voice. Just this quiet feeling that I didn't have to figure everything out immediately. When I walked back into the room, the bowl was empty. I lay down beside it and closed my eyes. I woke up feeling unusually rested, like I had slept much longer than I actually did."
