The turtle That carried Me across the lake

"I was walking beside a lake when I noticed a turtle following me. I don't know why, but I felt like I was supposed to take it somewhere. Then I looked into the water and saw dozens of turtles moving slowly underneath the surface. I stepped into the lake, and suddenly the water was much deeper than I expected. Instead of sinking, I was standing on the back of a huge turtle. It started carrying me across the lake, very slowly. I remember laughing because I was worried about falling, but somehow I wasn't scared. Then everything suddenly changed. I was sitting in my childhood bedroom, and there was a tiny turtle on my pillow. I picked it up and held it in my hands. It pulled its head inside its shell, and I whispered that it was okay. I woke up feeling unusually calm, like I had just been somewhere peaceful."
